it's not that i'm not ready, i am, the car is packed, full, and i'm ready. it's leaving where i grew up. it's leaving forever (?). i mean i'm sure i'll return. i'll be on the other side of the state for the wedding. i'll be back for some holidays and whatknot. but it won't ever be my home again. it won't be were i sleep every night. it won't be where i am. and that's a weird feeling.
i've often suspected that i go through these emotions really quickly. i don't know if i ignore them before hand, but i just don't really worry about it until today. and i'll probably be okay in a few days/week when i'm all settled in. i don't feel like i'm leaving anything undone. i don't feel like i'm leaving on a bad note at all. i'm very content with how i'm departing.
today was nice. the whole family ate together with grandma and grandpa. it was good. once they left, we started the packing up process. everyone, including nickkyi helped. it was fun. alro and heidi even stopped by, so i could just watch the family pack for a little bit. what a wonderful family i have.
now i'm waiting for jasmine to arrive. she's all packed up too. i hope all of our travels go well. please keep us in your prayers.
i'm unsure of how much access i'll have to the internet on our journey,,,,so farewell, for now.

hey jack,
for some reason when i read that bit about arlo and heidi coming to say goodbye, then it became vivid, a living picture. it was almost as if i was there. funny how things work, a couple of words make something real.
glad to hear there's things to look forward to in l.a. keep in touch. maybe i'll see you at brielle's wedding? if i'm there, that is.

I know you're already on the road, but the Red Lion Casino in Elko, NV has two compys with free internet access. They're right next to the starbucks kiosk. Oh crap, I forgot, you're probably not taking 80 through Nevada. I suck. Well, maybe you'll find something along the way.
