money! it is a crime

the radio below me is playing this song. i'm reminded of trying to watch the wizard of oz with the dark side of the moon album playing. how painful it was, everytime we'd get to a certain point, i think this song was one of them, joshua would be like, stop, stop, we need to have it earlier, and then we'd start it up again, and it'd be off some more and he'd be like, stop, stop, okay now play, and it'd be on, kinda, but not really. later i found out you can buy dvds with it the album playing already built in. that would be less hassle, but would it be better? i don't know.

sorry for the delay in posts, we were in san diego for a time and i didn't use a computer while i was there--it was kinda nice. (firefox wants me to capitalize san diego, but it doesn't think that kinda is spelled wrong.)

i'm not feeling very inspired to work today. i'm not sure why, i think it may be because i don't have music to cut to for this wedding i'm working on, it makes it more painful somehow, to edit under those conditions. i hope you are doing well.

it's easy! you just have to start dark side on the third roar of the lion. whether it's worth it...well, it's sort of fascinating for a while, but i think there's a reason that most people do it while high...maybe i missed something, though.

yea...but with joshua...it was always questioning which roar...and how he remembered it...possibly while high

i didn't do it while high. did it in my sophomore year, with heidi kooiman and someother people, in southview. and everything fit oh so perfectly. almost creepily.

yep, third roar of the lion.

the whole ordeal of trying to watch it at coffee time with josh always pausing and starting again was great

That's one of my favorite memories of coffee time. Ah Joshua.

I remember that evening with Joshua at coffee time and never getting it just right. And Jack, I find myself being unmotivated as well! Heres to not caring and the hope that we will eventually start to again at some point soon.

any time i do the dark side thing i always say things like, "oh, this part coming up is fucking CRAZY" and "didja catch that, didja catch that?" annoying. which is why i haven't it done it for a couple of years.
though last time i did do it, with ross, amanda and dane, i think, it worked perfectly throughout the entire movie. third roar, definitely.

how sad is it that i'm 23, a huge fan of both the movie and the album, a former pothead, and i've never ever watched the movie with the album?
man i suck.

oz was on last night and i wanted to do it. i never have. but i didn't know when either, i wish i had read your blog earlier. however, it was on tv so there was no rewind. is there another check point if you miss the roar?
