clause

mike e, has my favorite about me, it goes something like this: I was born at a very young age and seem to be getting older as the years go by.

i'd like to believe santa claus is really gabe in about 15 years. sipping wine in spain, sitting on his piles of money, dispersing it to the masses. i like that picture. gabe fat.

the united states postal service is horrible. since my name and my dad's name, john/jack are sometime interchangeable, and they start with the first letter, i've been getting his mail in california, and he get's mine sometimes. it's rather annoying. just no common sense, just procedure. that doesn't make for a good system. you need people with brains to say, hey, i bet these are two different people...arg.

my fantabulous wife planned a camping trip for this past weekend. it was a surprise to me. what fun it was. i didn't know about it until we bought the tent in targetto on thursday, and i didn't know where we were going until we were in the car on friday. we went to fairview, ca on the kern river. it was awesome. the weather was pretty warm, but we were so close to the river that we could walk down, freeze ourselve in the river, and be cool again for a while, then when we were warm again, the river called our name. we even got herman to swim! it was great. herman was really good at the campground too. we were both afraid that he'd be barking all the time, but he was pretty active during the days that we were there, so he was quite tired by the end of the day. he really liked our tent too, he loved to jump in and sleep by us--sometime that got kinda hot though!

so we rented some movies when we got home from camping, a good unwind. i must say, there are some really bad movies out there. we watched this one called, "the ape" which was especially bad. it may be my new baramoter for badness. the main actor/director, i like, james franco, he's a good actor. i'm not sure about his directing/writing skills though. i do not reccommend seeing it, unless you want to watch a bad movie.

the other two we got, brothers grimm, and ellie parker, were okay. brothers was better than ellie, but neither really got me excited about making movies, other than to do better than that.

i have some more work, for about a week or so. which is good. things seem to be shaping up for us as far as work goes.

it's weird though, how when i get one person calling me about work, i have like four. hopefully i can balance it out so that they call me in different intervals.

i'll try and get some photos/movies of our camping trip up.

you'll be able to see our three-legged champ in action!

outty.
