What's that you ask? New apartment? Well, we are also on the hunt for a new apartment. It's part of the deal, getting married, you know who your roommate will be, forever. It's great. We are looking in Pasadena California. We haven't got one yet, but we are applying to live in one that we looked at this week that we both would be quite happy with. It's a one bedroom, with great features. It's kind of old, so it has some built in things that you wouldn't expect in a new apartment, like shelves in the kitchen. It's got character, and I went back and forth
on whether i liked it, but ended up liking it, so we are persuing it for a living quarters. I'm excited to move. It's not that i don't like my current living situation, but I'm more excited to do things how we want to do them, and not make do with other people preferences. DooooWAP!
On sadder notes, Jasmine's car was totaled last weekend. So this week has been rather hecktic. In one whole week, we were able to lose a car, get a rental, and get the money for the old car. So today we are going to look for another car for her. I am hoping that we can find something that she'll be happy with. I say that because she spent so much time looking for her accord, that to find one in a few weeks or days, would be quite a feat. We are currently looking at the scion tC (the car).
Beyond losing her car Jasmine also lost some blood, inside and out. If that doesn't make sense, what i'm trying to say is she got some cuts and bruises. For the most part she is okay, it could have been much worse than it was. We hope to get her to a doctor though because of headaches that just won't go away.
We are also getting ready for the wedding. invitations are slowly going out. Well, it's not that slow. We mailed most of them in the past week. It was a good time finding and making and mailing. We are making lists and making check marks. It's good. I hope that it's a good time.
My work, like I said, is soon to be finished, so i'm working shorter days. Which i like. I have more time to spend with my newest roommate, Jeremy. Yes, the Jeremy that is linked on my blog. He's from portland and is a vegetarian. i never would have guessed it. It's a great time. The second day he was here, Jasmine, Jeremy, and I went to see The Squid and The Whale. I liked it. It is an interesting movie. I think jasmine said it best when she said, "I could have seen that by just spending a week with semi-normal american family." i paraphrased a bit, but that is the case, the movie is just that, normal. maybe not the normal we'd all like to see, but nevertheless, still normal. good writing. Noah Baumbach, good work.
I apologize to those that read this on a regular basis. I haven't kept up with my blogging for quite some time. it's weird too, because i do read other people's blogs fairly regularly, but i just can't find the time to write on my own.
I was watching Mythbusters today. I like that show. It's good.
well. I hope you feel full of jack (and jazz) information.
