satuday

today is my first free staturday in recent memory. i guess i had one or three over my break, but those don't really count. i haven't really done much today. i called mom and dad, said hey for a while. talked about the future and other such things. it looks like i will be coming back to sioux center for the summer. there are many reasons, one being the job i wanted didn't really happen, but it might in the fall.

i did laundry today. i really needed to do it. i was , um, low. on everything. i am also working on authoring my dvd of videos here at LAFSC. as per usual, i'm working too hard on it, meaning that i have spent many hours on it, but it's been like, work on it for a while, then leave it for a while. i got one done, but didn't like how it turned out on my dvd player, so i'm trying a different way now. oh the different cats. how i love to skin you.

everything is done. i don't really have anything to do these days. it's really nice. so yea. some final meetings on monday, and then a banquet on tuesday, and the showing of the final films on wednesday morning. that's what's going on.

hope things are well otherwise around the planet. with whomever reads this.

Yeh, uh hmmm. You know it. You do!

Got your fone message yesterday. For someone who complains about our answering machine message being overlong... Nah, it was appreciated. There's a punk/folk rock show coming up before the end of the semester in our barn. Josh D.G. is playing with his band. They've been practicing for two weeks now. They're pretty good.

Quitting smoking is hard. Cuz, like, you don't want to stop, y'know?

We have a puppy! Her name is Loki. Her name is NOT Lokey or Lokee or Locky or ANYTHING ELSE! We had a naming contest and Josh's suggestion of "Coltrane" had my earnest vote.

Teens in Sioux Center are restless. Read my latest livejournal entry to see what I mean! (mactoplac)

Vic Kalchev has given me a possible opportunity to get into A REAL GALLERY in a REAL TOWN CALLED CHICAGO. All I have to do is convince the wife of a friend's friend that I'm good enough to consider. Oh, baby... Mighty powers of eccentricity don't fail me now!

Will write soon, cous cous and beans. Painted flowers stain the nose and other such pleasantries!
