the best party styles high has ever seen.

i'm enjoying the long weekend. i had to work yesterday, which ended the weekend mentality, but then, the weekend makes a comeback for a day, way to go weekend.

i've been working a lot--probably too much lately. b to the ratz is supposed to be done in about 1.5 weeks (next friday) so this is crunch time. some of the pressure is falling on me--to get all the new renders cut into the sequences. i've really only made few dumb mistakes, which seemed to have resolved themselves. dumb mistakes suck you know? just when i was feeling like i had a handle on the system and what we were doing, i cut the makeover music in the music video intro! what a silly boy i am. no wonder it didn't make sense!

twin peaks season one is complete. what a trippy trip trip. so confusing, so many story lines, but good. the crappy thing is season two isn't officially on dvd yet. it's on vhs and their seems to be unofficial copies floating around, but nothing official. the series was out 15 years ago...what's take so long?!

i'm on the final strech on biology. i put it off too long, which means that i'm doing six lessons this weeked. i already have four done, with two more on the slate for today. i don't really get or enjoy cell functions. i get it, kind of, but not extremely well. i get how dna works--but when they ask these specific questions on what kind of post-zygote restriction blah blah blah, i get confused. i think i deal really well with lectures and listening, and reading all this stuff isn't my favorite thing to do. the last three lessons have been on evolution. which i really enjoy. i got to read the church of latter day saints view on evolution/creation of the world. with their pre-existing spirits and what not. it's pretty interesting, it took two sittings to get it all digested. the evolution thing is interesting too. i don't know that i've ever gone this in-depth to understanding evolution. unfortunately they suggested we skip the parts about macroevolution, which i may read later, because i'm interested. i say that now...but will i read it? idunno.

so, grandpa, if you read this blog, i'm interested to understand more fully what you believe the beginning of the world looked like. i think i understand generally that you believe that the days represented in the Bible are not the same 24 hour days that we are familiar with today, but i'm curious on the specifics, like, did evolution then occur during those longer days? and what do you think of the 'brother of jared' thing that the lds seems to put a lot of faith into. well, i bet i could guess on that one...the whole brother of jared thing is really weird.

endtransmission.
